A BOOSKI ANNI.

A year ago today, I started working as a nurse at Torrance Memorial. Not only did I start my career as a nurse, but I also met three of the most amazing girls, with whom I have now become infamously known by many as “the booskis”. After all the experiences we’ve had, we’ve gotten so close over the past year. In the short amount of time we’ve had together so far, we’ve gone through a lot. Good times, bad times, a wedding, heartbreaks, disagreements, drunken nights, girls’ trips, falling in love, boy troubles, husband troubles, apartment hunting, moving in, girl talks until 5am, and oh so many more. If you can find soulmates in friends too, then these girls are it. They’re there for me when I need them. Not afraid to tell it like it is. They’ll be the first to tell me if I’m wrong or right, if I’m being irrational, crazy, stupid, a bitch, a FOOSKI, a dork, etc. They’ve definitely encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, try new things. They’re their when I need advice. When a “booski emergency” is called, all three are at someone’s place in a heartbeat for some girl talk. These girls showed me what it’s like to have true girlfriends.
They may be loud and crazy at times, and sometimes give me a hard time, but I wouldn’t trade them in at all.
